Proper food safety is vital during pregnancy. This is one time you really need to avoid food poisoning and tummy upsets. A young family also need to be kept safe from harm, so ensuring hygienic food handling from the very start of pregnancy, right through your family rearing years, is a valuable thing to practice. So, what are the main food safety precedures? Cleaning work surfaces and following up with a spray-on anti-bacterial cleanser is a good idea. Keep raw meat, poultry, fish, cooked meat, vegetables and dairy products separate. Especially avoid allowing raw meat to contaminate other foods and work surfaces. Use a
dishwasher.
