Pregnancy Problems

Few pregnancies run their course without any pregnancy problems. The numerous changes your body undergoes throughout pregnancy can cause many problems, most of which are normal and will not need special medical attention. However, there are sometimes more serious developments such as infections or diabetes and it is always best to be aware of the early warning signs.

Mention anything troubling to your midwife so she can reassure you or take further action if necessary.

Below you will find information on what to look out for during pregnancy, which problems are common and need no further treatment, and which may need treatment. By understanding what is happening you will be able to cope more easily with any developments.
